Why Did Google Apps Sync for Microsoft Outlook (GASMO) Stop Working?
Are you using the Google Apps Sync Module for Outlook (GASMO)?
Are you using the Google Apps Sync Module for Outlook (GASMO)? If so, and you are using deprecated versions 3.6 or older, you may have noticed it stopped working this past Monday, April 20, 2015. This is because the Notes sync features in Outlook is not compatible with older GASMO versions.
The software should have auto-updated, which means most should not have any issues. However, if one of the following situations occurred, your software may not have updated automatically:
- The Google Update functionality is disabled.
- The GASMO Enterprise Microsoft Installer (MSI) is installed, which doesn’t auto-update.
- The GASMO client is failing to auto-update.
If one of these issues occurred, it is critical that you manually update to the latest GASMO version (3.7.395.1040) right away! It can be downloaded by Clicking Here.
