Helping Children
The Connections Therapy Center provides specialized care to children and adolescents with physical and mental disabilities. The types of care offered are behavioral therapy, occupational therapy, physical therapy, and speech and language therapy. The Connections Therapy Center has made a special effort to comprise their team of some of the most qualified therapists in the country. Therapy utilizes all types of play to encourage children to gain control of their motor skills while also having fun! When performing behavioral therapy, the therapist will often find one type of therapy that works, then focus on that intensively. This helps the child’s learning to become more streamlined, rather than being pulled this way and that by various different types of therapies at once.
Helping Families
Not only does The Connections Therapy Center offer specialized therapy to disabled children and adolescents, it also offers specialized services to family members as well. Raising a disabled child is a difficult process, especially if you have little guidance. This is why The Connections Therapy Center offers a series of seminars that focus on how to react in the inevitable situations that many parents of disabled children will face. The Connections Therapy Center also offers educational navigation, which helps parents to know how to guide their disabled child through our complicated educational system.
