Just make sure they’re okay with you reposting their photo or video before you do so.

If you’re hosting an event, a staged picture or video might be a great way to show it off, but it’s not the only way. In fact, one of the biggest benefits of stories is that it’s great for unpolished content that you wouldn’t want to stick around but can go a long way in humanizing your brand. Backstage clips of setting things up or preparing for an event are a great way to show what you’re all about.

Time Sensitive Material

Offering a deal that only lasts for a certain time? Running a flash sale that only takes place for a few hours? Stories are often the best way to let your customers know about this kind of thing. Not only does it make sense since, like the promotion, the story itself only lasts for some time, but it also keeps people coming back to your page and waiting for more content if they know you do special deals like this.

If there’s some element of education to your product or service, it’s always nice to spread some of that information when you can. Keep it short and to the point. If you work in any kind of maintenance industry or home repair, it’s also a great tool to show what happens when mistakes are made and professional help isn’t called in when it should be.
