SmartCEO’s Executive Management Award
The Executive Management Awards program recognizes exceptional leadership and accomplishments of management in the Maryland region. CFOs, CIOs/CTOs, Chief Legal Offices/General Counsels, Chief Human Resources Officers, and other C-suite executives are all eligible for receiving this prestigious award. SmartCEO looks for individuals who uphold the highest ethics, lead collaboratively and creatively, and enhance and support their organization’s mission. These are individuals who are leaders and innovators within their companies. We’d like to congratulate all the winners of this year’s SmartCEO Executive Management Award, with a special shout-out to Steve Carne of Terrapin Adventures! The awards will be handed out on Thursday, March 24th from 6:00-9:00pm at Westin BWI.
The Daily Record’s Top 100 Women
This year is the 20th anniversary of The Daily Record’s Top 100 Women, a prestigious award that recognizes women leaders who rise to challenges within their fields and also dedicate their time to community work and mentoring. Those who were nominated were asked to complete an application that outlined their educational and career history, professional and community involvement, corporate and nonprofit board memberships, and mentoring experience. Our Vice President Gina Ramsey was nominated for this prestigious award on the basis of her deep involvement with our company and her work outside the company to promote other women leaders and business owners. Be sure to attend the awards show on May 4 at the Josef Meyerhoff Symphony Hall in Baltimore.
