About Dr. McAfee
Board-certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery, Dr. McAfee specializes in surgery to correct spine deformities and neurologic deficits. He participates in the Spine Training Programs at Johns Hopkins, MedStar, and the University of Maryland Systems. Dr. McAfee also has a traveling fellowship to teach other spine surgeons globally. With over 20 patents on Minimally Invasive Spine Surgery, he was among the first surgeons in the nation to complete endoscopic spine surgery, cervical disk replacement, and anterior endoscopic spinal instrumentation.
