Adventure Web Productions Launches New Site: The Sparks of Change Foundation
The Sparks of Change Foundation is a non-profit foundation dedicated to programs that promote true social change at the personal and communal level. The foundation was started to honor the 2010 death of Daniel Joseph Seigel, a Baltimore, Maryland local who attended Yale. Daniel’s amazing spark was exemplified in his devotion to education and kung fu, his precocious leadership skills, and an overall care and inspiration that poured from his character. It is this spark that the foundation aims to build upon as it supports the type of humanistic advancing programs that Daniel would have immersed himself with.
The Sparks of Change Foundation will start by undertaking two inspiring projects. The first is a subversive cultural awareness/understanding project in which activities will be set up between an Arab Israeli educator visiting Baltimore, and Jewish Day School children visiting Israel. For another project, the foundation is supporting the Middle Grades Partnership which provides comprehensive summer and after-school learning opportunities for academically promising Baltimore City middle school students.
Events hosted and sponsored by The Sparks of Change Foundation have included Race for Hope: Washington, DC & Philadelphia, PA, Tien Shan Kung Fu Demonstrations, and a fundraiser including Barnes and Noble in conjunction with Beth Tfiloh Dahan Community School. The foundation will continue to host events to fund its needs, as well as sponsor events to funds other related non-profits.
The Sparks of Change Foundation efficiently allocates the money raised to programs that are dedicated to the ethical and humanistic growth of individuals and communities. Donations can be made online through the Baltimore Community Foundation.
