Adventure Web Productions Launches New Site: Maryland Symphony Orchestra
The Maryland Symphony Orchestra has been dazzling audiences since 1982. This professional symphony orchestra in Maryland is one of four. Under the Music Director Elizabeth Schulze, the Maryland Symphony Orchestra performs a variety of shows from the Salute to Independence Concert at Antietam National Battlefield to MSO Pops! The mission of the Maryland Symphony Orchestra is “to provide musical performances and programs that educate and entertain while enhancing the cultural environment of Western Maryland and the surrounding region”. The MSO brings viewers from Virginia, West Virginia, Pennsylvania, and Maryland. There are many opportunities for student learning through programs paired with the performers. Free student tickets are also available for grades K-12. Applications for scholarships can be found on the website as to promote the musical growth of the area’s youth.
