Adventure Web Celebrates the Holiday Season at State Fare in Catonsville

The Team at Adventure Web Interactive works hard every single day to ensure our clients get the best results possible from their websites. Last year, we decided to celebrate all that hard work with a well-deserved, fun night out. When a great local restaurant opened up right across the street from our office, we knew that would be the perfect location. Our team had a great time at the holiday party, and we’re already looking forward to the next one!
Company Superlatives
For the 2018 holiday party, the whole company voted on 4 different categories: biggest character, best company spirit, unsung hero, and rookie of the year. The biggest character award was new this year, and it went to our creative director Ryan Gladhill. Best company spirit went to our social media account manager, Joyce Dimond. Our IT guru extraordinaire Michael Baker went home with the unsung hero award. And the rookie of the year award went to Jaiwin Baby, one of the newest members of the Adventure Web team.
Cookie Baking Contest
This year, we decided to try something different and hold a cookie baking contest. Several AWI team members baked and decorated their best cookies to try to win the prize, but the winners were both from our awesome social media team. Best tasting cookie went to Abby Burns for her peanut butter cookies. Best decorating went to Maria Terry for her “ugly Christmas sweater” cookies that were anything but ugly!
About State Fare
State Fare may be new to Catonsville, but we know they’re here to stay. Their delicious food and great drinks were enjoyed by all. State Fare has an extensive menu to please even the pickiest of palates, and they even offer an array of gluten-free selections. They have a fully-stocked bar with a huge selection of bourbons and whiskeys. Their bar also features many different local, craft beers. They are open daily from 8 am until 2 am and serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
